Welcome to the UNMC Vice Chancellor for Research’s Virtual Food Drive for the Food Bank for the Heartland!  Please join us in providing for our neighbors more efficiently by turning every dollar donated into more healthy food options.  Last year, the Food Bank for the Heartland distributed more than 32.8 million meals, which is 10 million more than the previous year – the most in the organization’s 39-year history! These meals nourished hungry and at risk children, families, seniors, and veterans across Nebraska and western Iowa. This record number of meals would not be possible without the outpouring support from people like you. You are providing critical meals during this unprecedented time of need.
