Bear Down Omaha is back again to do our part to help feed hungry people in our community! Last year we raised $672, that's enough for over 2,000 meals! Each dollar raised can help the Foodbank for the Heartland provide 3 meals to people in need. Please contribute in any amount now through December 3rd. The Food Bank for the Heartland distributed more than 38.2 million meals last year – an 89% increase over the average of the previous four years – the most in the organization’s 39-year history! These meals nourished hungry children, families, seniors, and veterans across Nebraska and western Iowa. This record number of meals would not be possible without the outpouring of support from people like you. You are providing critical meals during this unprecedented time of need.
